On Epiphany Sunday, we hear again the story of how the magi traveled to Bethlehem, using a star as their guide to find a new king. On this day, we think of stars, visitors, gifts, journeys, & babies.
Prayer for Epiphany:
Like wise ones following a star, God, help us to follow your light.
Like travelers in search of your truth, God, help us to follow your light.
God of hope & peace, joy & love & light, journey with us through our lives.
Give us courage to follow your star into the world, & the wisdom to recognize truths when we discover them.
Amen.
